The updates will include new computers, satellite systems, and other electronics that have rapidly evolved in the past decade. The department hopes that the upgrades will enhance their emergency preparedness and response capabilities, allowing them to better serve and keep the community safe. The city expects to hear back about the grant in the next three months.
