Heirs Technologies, a prominent digital transformation company, has appointed Obong Idiong as its Chief Executive Officer. Idiong brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at United Bank for Africa Plc and Heirs Holdings Limited. His focus on digital transformation and technology-driven solutions is expected to take Heirs Technologies to new heights.
Before joining Heirs Technologies, Idiong served as the MD/CEO at Africa Prudential Plc, where he led the digital transformation of registrar services. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calabar, a Master of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Lagos State University.
Heirs Technologies, a subsidiary of Heirs Holdings, offers IT consulting, managed services, and business process outsourcing. The company is committed to developing local talent and follows founder Tony Elumelu’s Africapitalism philosophy, which aims to drive economic transformation in Africa.
Alongside Idiong, Fumbi Chima was appointed as the Chair of Heirs Technologies. Chima has previously held CIO roles at global companies such as Adidas, Fox Network Group, and Walmart Stores Inc. Asia business operations.
